What image formats can I compress?
The tool supports JPG, PNG and WebP images. The compressed image can be downloaded in one of these formats.
Does compression change the image dimensions?
No. The tool keeps the original width and height and focuses on reducing the file size.
What does the quality setting do?
Quality controls the output level for JPG and WebP files. PNG does not use the same quality setting, so the field is hidden for PNG.
Why is the compressed file sometimes not smaller?
Some images are already optimized or may become larger when converted to another format. In that case, the tool still prepares the file for download.
What results does the tool show?
It shows the original file size, compressed file size, saved size and image dimensions after processing.
