Why does my transparent PNG need a background?
JPG does not support transparency. The converter fills transparent pixels with your selected colour instead of leaving an unexpected black background.
Do the dimensions change?
No. This converter keeps the image width and height. Use Resize image if you also want smaller dimensions.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Conversion takes place in your browser. Pixplet does not receive the files you choose. Results use temporary storage in your browser, not your account. Download them before leaving this page; clearing the result set removes its temporary files.
Exports do not retain EXIF metadata, camera location, colour profiles or editable layers. Images use your browser colour handling. Animated PNG and WebP are not supported.
