Can I convert animated WebP?
This tool is for still images. Animated WebP files are rejected so an animation is not silently turned into a single frame.
Will changing to JPG make the file smaller?
Not always. WebP is often already compact. The result depends on image content and the JPEG quality you choose.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Conversion takes place in your browser. Pixplet does not receive the files you choose. The result is not stored in your account, so download it before leaving this page.
Exports do not retain EXIF metadata, camera location, colour profiles or editable layers. Images use your browser colour handling. Animated PNG and WebP are not supported.
