Does the PNG keep transparency?
Yes. Transparent pixels in a still WebP image are preserved in the PNG output.
Is PNG always a smaller file?
No. PNG is lossless and may be significantly larger. Choose WebP to JPG for photos when a smaller, widely compatible file is more useful.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Conversion takes place in your browser. Pixplet does not receive the files you choose. The result is not stored in your account, so download it before leaving this page.
Exports do not retain EXIF metadata, camera location, colour profiles or editable layers. Images use your browser colour handling. Animated PNG and WebP are not supported.
