Make a worksheet learners can use independently

Start with a clear task and short instructions. Group questions by activity and leave enough space for answers, drawings or working out. A learner should be able to understand where to begin without guessing which decorative element is part of the task.

Choose readable type and a calm layout suited to the audience. Check that illustrations support the exercise and do not give away an answer unintentionally. Try completing the worksheet yourself to spot missing instructions or cramped answer spaces.

Export PNG for a clear page image or combine multiple worksheet images into a PDF. Check the final paper size, margins and grayscale appearance if the sheet will be printed without colour. Keep an editable project to adapt the activity for another group.
